In Wong´s paintings the relationship between her figures and space underlines the artist´s pictorial knowledge. The bodies never asphyxiate space. Neither does space minimize these. They do not compete, but harmonize and balance each other. In this manner the naked body grows in presence, never revealing itself completely, as if protected by a veil of mystery.
